Food-donation numbers for Kyrene center on the rise!

We are so grateful to our Esperanza family for its caring spirit. You have such a sense of community responsibility by lifting those around us who need a hand.

That is reflected in our continuing growing contribution of food to the Kyrene Family Resource Center.

An additional 20 pounds of food were donated since our last report, bringing the year-to-date total to 131 pounds! While this is great news, we now are teetering around the pace necessary to reach our 2022 goal of a half ton. Thank you to all who donated!

As a reminder, the top priority of food needs are granola bars, ramen noodles and fruit snacks.

We encourage you to step up and help our neighbors in need! Donations may be placed in the KFRC box in the Fellowship Hall. Peggy and Larry Hanson deliver all donated food to the center on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month.

What is Kyrene Family Resource Center? It supports basic needs of all Kyrene School District students, kindergarten through middle school. If needed, Kyrene families and employees may receive support from the center for immediate needs, such as gently used school clothing, food and hygiene supplies.
