With the rapid increase in COVID-19 cases due to the Omicron variant, hospitals again are stretched to capacity.
Our Veterans Administration Hospital is sorely in need of another round of warm meals from the generous chefs at Esperanza.
We’d like to get the band back together to provide a meal on Tuesday, January 18. Delivery of contributed food items should be on Monday, January 17, at the church.
We were thinking of going with an Italian theme again. Some items to consider:
- Pasta dishes.
- Salads (pasta and/or green).
- Vegetables.
- Italian soup.
- Garlic bread – or any bread and butter.
- Desserts.
- Snacks.
- A case of water.
- Additional drinks.
We still have about $200 in our “Meals Kitty” if anyone would like some funds to purchase items.
