Esperanza Lutheran Church will again be celebrating the 4th of July during the Ahwatukee Chamber of Commerce annual Children’s Bicycle Parade!
The parade begins at 8:15 a.m. at Foothills Baptist Church parking lot on Saturday, July 4th. It will end at Thunderhill Park directly across the street from Esperanza Lutheran Church. The Chamber will be providing hot dogs, drinks, music, entertainment, and prizes. The fire department will shower folks (both big and small) with their fire hoses! The event ends at 11:00 a.m.
Show your community spirit and decorate your bikes, trikes, scooters, wagons, or baby strollers and join the parade! Then meet up with your Esperanza community at the conclusion.
Esperanza will be using this opportunity to again connect with the Ahwatukee community and make them aware of our welcoming church and congregation. We will be offering games, prizes, and Esperanza information for all of the cyclists and parents.
If you would like to help on the 4th, please use the sign-up sheets available in the Fellowship Hall. We need volunteers to assist with tent setup, tent teardown, and applying temporary tattoos. We hope you will join us for this fun event!
