Beginning September 25, Esperanza will again be working with the Southeast Valley Lutheran Coalition (SELV) to build our 26th Habitat home. The site for the new home is in Tempe. It’s not too early to start thinking about supporting this build with a tax credit. Information about the Habitat for Humanity tax credit program
John Fisher will again serve as the house leader for this build.
While we’ll be still exercising some caution regarding Covid, our hope is that we’ll be able to have more volunteers throughout the build process and have meals brought in for the volunteers. With this in mind, please begin to mark your calendar for volunteering (Saturdays and Tuesdays) beginning September 25th and provide your assistance when possible for meals on the Saturday build day.
Just a note: This home will be built next door to the 3D printed house that I’m sure many of you have heard and read about.
We’re looking forward to seeing many of you at this upcoming build. Leaders are John Fisher, John Gemma, or Jim Gisselquist if you have any questions. Contact: Jim Gisselquist at [email protected]
